Mata-Au Lodge is available to hire as a Central Otago wedding venue and for celebrations, events, meetings & retreats. The peaceful, riverside location makes for a stunning backdrop, and the on-site function centre can comfortably seat 80-90 guests.
The on-site Function Centre can seat 80-90 guests and offers a full bar and toilet facilities.
Expansive lawns on the property provide great options for an outdoor marquee (external hire).
Mata-Au Lodge can sleep up to 10 guests spacious comfort in 5 bedrooms (4 ensuite). The large outdoor deck directly overlooks the river and is ideal for a romantic riverside ceremony.
You can choose to provide your own catering (parking available for vans), or we can assist with catering options for you. If you choose to self cater the large kitchen has a 6 burner gas stove and oven and there is also a separate butlers pantry with second oven.
Mata-Au Lodge, function centre and its grounds can be exclusively yours to enjoy for a night, weekend or longer stay. Just 15 mins away from Lawrence we can also provide other Lawrence accommodation options for your guests too – please ask at time of booking.
