We are servicing the ‘Clutha Gold Cycling & Walking Trail‘ dropping off you or your group at your choice of location as listed below. For a complete package stay at our luxury Mata-au Lodge, Lawrence Townhouse or Oban Guesthouse. We also transfer to Alexandra, Clyde & Middlemarch.

Self Hire Van & Bike Trailer
As well as our accommodation we also offer a bike trailer and van for self hire. This makes it easy to enjoy the Central Otago bike trails at your own pace. You can choose to bring your own driver or take turns as a group. The van/trailer is yours for the duration of your trip.

Self hire means you can stay at the same accommodation for your whole biking trip without the need to pack up each morning. This option also gives you the freedom to do as much or as little as you want to each day. If the weather is not ideal for biking, or members of your group are looking to relax there are lots of short walks and activities in the nearby area.
Bring your own bikes or use one of the hire options in Central Otago. The ideal group size for hire is up to 10 people.
Self Hire Pricing
Van & Bike trailer hire is $350 per day or $35pp, per day for a group of 10. This includes unlimited kms but not fuel.
We can also pick you up from Dunedin or Queenstown airport and drop you back at the end of your trip. Please book this option in advance with us. We also have other entertainment options such as packed lunches and food/drink packages to make your biking trip even more easy to plan.
