Central Otago Wedding & Events Venue
Mata-Au Lodge is available to hire as a Central Otago wedding venue and for celebrations, events, meetings & retreats. The peaceful, riverside location makes for a stunning backdrop and Mata-Au Lodge can sleep up to 10 guests.
You can choose to provide your own catering or we can assist with catering options for you. If you choose to self cater the large kitchen has a 6 burner gas stove and oven and there is also a separate butlers pantry with second oven.
2 Lawns provide great options for a small marquee or outside celebrations with beautiful views across the Clutha River. The wooden deck which directly overlooks the river is ideal for a ceremony, with easy access in and out of the Lodge.
Mata-Au Lodge and its grounds can be exclusively yours to enjoy for a night, weekend or longer stay. Just 15 mins away from Lawrence we can also provide other accommodation options for your guests too – please ask at time of booking.
